As with the Netatmo Presence, the Floodlight Cam pulls double-duty as a light source and a home security camera, allowing you to monitor the outside of your home from a smartphone or PC.It delivers sharp video and clean two-way audio, but requires a subscription to view recorded video and had a few mobile app issues in testing.The Netgear Arlo Pro offers free basic service that gives you seven days of cloud recording, and supports up to five cameras.

Clicking on an item in Event History plays a clip of the recorded video and gives you the option of sharing the clip with friends and family or with your entire neighborhood by pressing the Ring Neighborhoods button.
To save your recording as a project file, you can click in the File menu and select the Save Project option.
The recording will be saved in the *.screenrec format.
Ring Neighborhoods is a community watchdog feature that lets you share recorded events with neighbors who also have Ring devices and have signed up to participate.
The app uses your location (entered during setup) to determine your neighborhood and allows you to add a comment along with your clip.
Ring claims that the bulbs will last up to ten years, but once they go you're out of luck as they are not replaceable. A Ring spokesperson confirmed that the company will swap out the fixture for free, but you'll still have to remove it and reinstall the replacement.
The camera is housed in an attached enclosure that measures 4.5 by 2.7 by 2.7 inches (HWD).
The Floodlight Cam uses the same Android and i OS mobile app as other Ring devices, such as the Video Doorbell, and can be accessed and managed from a PC using the web console as well.
